Program view - Searching for users
On the program view page in Clinician Impact, there is a search bar for searching users in the program selected. This page will help to clarify what you can search for and how it works for both phone numbers and names in the same search bar.
Searching by Phone Number
The phone number search is designed to pull out anything non-numeric out of the search bar if the string entered is 3 or more numbers. If there are more than three numbers in the search bar, then clicking on the search icon will pull any phone number matches for users in the results. The search will look for the phone number in the order the numbers were entered in the search bar.
As expected, entering the numbers in the order they appear in the user’s phone number pulls back a match from the list of users in the program selected
Having letters in between the numbers will not hinder the search function from pulling any matches.
Note that even if there is a first or last name included with the numbers the search will only search phone numbers if 3 or more numbers are in the search string
Searching by User Name
You have the option of searching either by First Name or Last Name on the patient. Just enter the patient's first or last name in the search bar and click the search icon to pull back matches out of the users that have been enrolled or are currently enrolled in the program.
Note in the below image that the last name pulled all matches that have the word in the search bar in either the First or the Last Name
DOB and phone number are blurred below to protect the identity of the relevant testing elves
Note that searching by first and last name will not pull up a result. The search functionality is designed to search either a first or last name, but not to search both first and last name at the same time.
