Participant Data Source Connection Statuses

  • Pending - the participant has not yet authorized data sharing for the source.

  • Connected - the participant has authorized data sharing for the data source and can now transmit data to the program.

  • Inactive - the source is no longer connected.

The source status shows the connection status of the data source(s) for a participant within a program. If the participant has authorized data sharing for the data source (has completed the vendor auth process), the source status will change from "pending" to "connected."

Once the participant has connected the data source (or has connected one data source in a multi-measure program), the participant will move from an "invited" to an "active" state. Impact Participant Program Enrollment Statuses.

If the program has more than one measurement type, there will be a source status corresponding to each measurement type. For example, if you have a program to track both blood pressure and weight, there will be a source corresponding to both the blood pressure measurement type and the weight measurement type, and there will be a source status corresponding to each of those sources.

Once the source is in a connected status, the "last upload" and "last reading" date below the status will update with the latest reading and upload/sync. When the user is "unenrolled" from a program, or the user moves to an "abandoned" status, the source connection status or statuses will be disconnected (if previously connected), and the sources status will move to "inactive."
