Inconsistent Fitbit Nutritional Values

For some logged food entries in Fitbit, why does the nutritional information seen through the Fitbit web dashboard differ from what we retrieve from the Validic API?

There have been instances where some of the nutritional information values of records in the Validic API are inconsistent with what is visible in Fitbit's Dashboard. These values are inconsistent because the food logging section of the Fitbit Web app or web dashboard hasn't been updated to use the Fitbit API. Fitbit has confirmed that the data from their Fitbit API remains correct, and Validic's nutrition records reflect these. Fitbit's engineering team is currently working to fix this issue.
