Validic is pleased to announce we are expanding the Validic Marketplace with the addition of the Keto-Mojo Blood Glucose and Ketone Meter. Keto-Mojo meters take the guesswork out of ketosis and help users dial in their ketogenic diet and lifestyle. A ketone meter is an essential tool for anyone following a keto or low-carb diet for weight loss, diabetes management, general health benefits, or therapeutic purposes.

One of the biggest concerns voiced by metabolic practitioners is that it’s tough to get patients to adhere to dietary changes they prescribe. But access to real time patient data like glucose and ketone readings can be a gamechanger.

Keto-Mojo meters are Bluetooth enabled and allow users to instantly download glucose and ketone readings right from the meter to the Keto-Mojo Classic App. This companion app calculates the Glucose-Ketone-Index (GKI), which is an important bio-marker for tracking metabolic health and level of ketosis. 

The Ketogenic diet has long been a standard treatment protocol for childhood epilepsy and is becoming more widely accepted as a treatment for obesity, type 2 and pre-diabetes, neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s, mental health disorders, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and as an adjunct cancer treatment.

Monitoring ketones and glucose together gives patients the instant feedback they need to adhere to their nutritional goals, which has proven to increase compliance with their dietary program.  And it provides practitioners with the continuous real-time data they need to monitor patient progress more proactively and intervene when needed. This combination of Real-Time Data and more frequent Remote Patient Monitoring leads to greater accountability and better patient outcomes.

Keto-Mojo’s GK+ meter is FDA-approved and available in the US. Keto-Mojo’s GKI meter is CE-approved and available in European markets. Validic supports both meters.
