What are Metrics?

Validic has reviewed the data received from the various apps and devices that share data with our API. In an effort to reduce the amount of data to consume we have identified a set of fields called Metrics that represent the most relevant and commonly consumed data points generated. Metrics represent a measurement type. For example steps, weight, bmi, etc... Resources are groups of these Metric types. Metrics can exist in more than one Resource type.
