  • Once participant is enrolled in the program with cellular device support, a gear icon will display next to each source type within the detail patient view in the Support Dashboard.

  • Click the gear icon, a field will display to allow IMEI entry. IMEI stands for “International Mobile Equipment Identity,” and it is a unique 15-digit number that identifies a mobile device.

    • Enter the device’s IMEI into the field - a barcode scanner can be used or the IMEI can be entered manually.

    • Confirm the IMEI within the field.

    • Click “Save” to attach the device to the participant. The device can now be used and will transmit readings.

    • If a mistake is made on IMEI entry, or if a device needs to be switched, the IMEI can be cleared and a new one can be added. Note that the device can only be connected to a single user at a time.

  • Attach a device for each relevant measurement type within the program.

  • Upon program un-enrollment (in last program utilizing the device), the device is disconnected from the user, and readings will no longer flow.

  • *Note that even if the user is disconnected, a cellular connection will still be maintained on the device until manually removed by the client or Validic.
