Oxygen Saturation Goals and Events (Notifications)
Goal and event (notification) options vary by the Impact measurement type. The tables below show goal and notification options for oxygen saturation.
Goals
Metric | Goal Types | Number of Values |
---|---|---|
Oxygen Saturation | Individual reading limit | Single value |
Oxygen Saturation | Average reading limit | Single value |
Oxygen Saturation | Individual reading range | Range |
Oxygen Saturation | Average reading range | Range |
Oxygen Saturation | Reading count | Single value |
Control Goal:
The “control goal” is the goal that determines which metrics or readings are in and out of range visually from the clinician dashboard. A single goal of this type must be present within the program in order for dashboard visuals (logbook and charts) to display readings or individual metrics as in or out of range. The “control goal” is added by default when a new program is created with the corresponding measurement type.
“Keep all SpO2 levels greater than or equal to [spo2] %”
Measurement Type: Oxygen Saturation - Blood Oxygen Saturation
Goal Type: Individual Reading Limit
Goal Usage: Reviewer Cannot Disable

Oxygen Saturation Logbook and Charts
The logbook view and chart views vary by the Impact measurement type. The examples below show the logbook view and chart view for oxygen saturation.
Logbook
The logbook for the oxygen saturation measurement type shows in a compact format, with a range dependent on the view range selected at the top of the clinician dashboard. Both oxygen saturation(SpO2) and pulse (if available) values are shown:
Charts
The chart view for the oxygen saturation measurement type shows a timeline with oxygen saturation (SpO2) data. The chart date range is dependent on the view window selected at the top of the clinician dashboard. The reading value, reading timestamp, and comment (if available) are shown on datapoint click.
