How to Connect
The following video and tutorial will help you pair the device. We’ll also share some steps to troubleshoot as well.
Pairing
Before you Begin
Make sure your mobile device is up-to-date! Check your settings and install all outstanding updates. You can choose not to do this; however, you may have problems pairing the device. Think about it like servicing your car before a long trip.
Make sure your True Metrix Air has the correct date and time.
Get close! You will need to ensure the True Metrix Air is close to your phone. We suggest you place them beside each other.
Start Paring
Open HealthBridge and click “Connect Glucose Meter.”
Select “True Metrix Air”
Press the power button (white dot) to turn on the meter. You do not need to hold down the button for an extended period—just power on like normal.
Once HealthBridge says “Pairing,” wait. The True Metrix Air pairs silently in the background and there is no pairing indication on the screen aside from the Bluetooth icon. This process may take about a minute.
If HealthBridge indicates the pairing failed, make sure your phone is up to date and BLE is enabled. If you have other Glucose Meters paired, it may be helpful to “forget” those meters and attempt to pair the True Metrix Air.
There are two similar devices, a True Metrix and a True Metrix Air. Only the Air has BLE connectivity and can be paired with HealthBridge.
5. Once the device has connected to the phone, you will be prompted to enter the last six digits of the meter's serial number. This is found on the back of the device.
6. Once paired, complete the reading, and the data will sync to HealthBridge.

Troubleshooting
Update! Make sure you update your mobile device.
Make sure your meter has the correct date and time.
Get close! Place your mobile device beside the meter. If the two are too far apart, the signal will be too weak, and pairing will fail.
If pairing fails, reboot and try again. Close the HealthBridge app, restart your device, and reboot your mobile device.
If paring fails, turn off the meter, select “Try Again” in HealthBridge, and press the pair button again.
The True Metrix Air app is not required for this installation. Using it simultaneously as HealthBridge may cause some readings to be omitted from HealthBridge.
