Android Native SDKs Released

  • Android Full Library v1.17.0

  • Android Aggregator Library v1.17.0

  • Android LifeScan OneTouch Library v1.17.0

Android Native Changes

General

  • Bump Android Gradle Plugin to 8.5.2.

  • Bump Gradle to 8.9.

  • Module libraries are tested against an Android phone running Android 15 (API 35).

  • The Validic Android modules now support Android 8 - 15.

Bluetooth

  • Fix Agamatrix and CVS Health Glucose Meters (IDs 32, 33) not completing pairing successfully.

LifeScan

  • Update `LifescanBackgroundReadService` to return `START_REDELIVER_INTENT` from `onStartCommand` to ensure the service is restarted if it is killed by the system.

VitalSnap

  • Update Fragments to extend `androidx.app.fragment.Fragment`

  • ValidicOCRController now injects Fragments via the `SupportFragmentManager`

  • Add Nullability annotations to `ValidicOCRController`
